Special Events Coordinator
Let’s Talk Science is seeking a highly motivated self-starter with excellent event and volunteer management skills and experience planning and executing numerous events on parallel timelines.
As a key member of our Let’s Talk Science Outreach team, reporting to the Manager, Volunteer Engagement and Community Partnerships you will work with the National All Science Challenge team, including local event coordinators and local event partners to plan and direct the execution of 21 All Science Challenge events nationally in spring 2012. The Special Events Coordinator will also work with the Let’s Talk Science Outreach team to support special programs and projects.
As the successful candidate you will have a formal education in a relevant field – event management, communication, science or education. Along with your education you have experience in event and volunteer management and leading a team towards a goal.
This is a new full-time position one-year (renewable) contract position, includes benefits and is based at our National Office in London, Ontario.
