Creating Effective Health Education Campaigns
Ever wanted to make a difference in the health of a group of an individual? This training session equips participants with the knowledge and tools to develop effective messages and ways to educate youth and adults about health issues.

View Objectives

By the end of this 6-hour module youth participants will be able to:
  1. Describe and apply the basic elements of health education campaigns for an audience of their peers.

View Objectives

Knowledge: By the end of this 6-hour module youth participants will be able to:
  1. Describe/define the basic concepts of health education and social marketing, including definitions and key terms.
  2. Identify and describe criteria and tools for developing effective health education campaigns (including branding, digital media, and other communication strategies).

Application: By the end of this 6-hour module youth participants will be able to:

  1. Identify and apply best practices from other successful health education and branding strategies aimed at a youth audience.
  2. Develop a health education campaign based on chosen strategies for an audience of their peers.
